Resources

These resources are for those who want to do deeper dives.

There is no final exam, no required reading.

Don’t get lost, overwhelmed or demoralized.

Knowledge is power, learning is empowering.

My hope is that everyone will find voices they can hear and be inspired and educated by, and more importantly, hone their own voice to use.

I bet you know enough already to get started and act!

These resources are tools for you to use to learn, to be effective, and for inspiration, as they fit your needs.

Sections

1. Annotated bibliography:

Books, a few editorials, articles and videos.

2. Groups and websites:

Groups and websites have a lot of information, and there are opportunities to get involved if you wish.

3. UCLA resources:

Climate and sustainability related activities at UCLA.

4. Summarizing the science:

Brief essays on aspects of planetary health and related issues. I think of this as a separate section, but can be seen as a resource.

Geared toward medical professionals, but open to all.

Additional resources will also be found in and at the end of essays and other posts. Within the pages on this website there are links to outside sources and literature, as well as to other relevant pages on this website, as well.

This section provides links to all the “Your Planet, Your Health” podcast episodes that we have released so far, and their accompanying videos.
